An Irrational Hatred of Luton
Luton back in the Championship with a bunch of players Allardyce tried hard to destroy their careers to make a point and a load of other ex hammers:

Marek Shrek
Danny Potts
Pelly Ruddock
George Moncur
Elliot Lee

They even have James Collins up top.

Hatched buried? Time to have a soft spot for these boys in the championship? Will any of them come home?

Peter Anderson dancing around and goading the South Bank was my first memory of Luton, after he had scored against us in the 2-1 home defeat in the Texaco cup in 1974!

Re: An Irrational Hatred of Luton
I think it was the only game I missed in 1986/7 season away to Luton. They had the away fan ban on, and stupidly (in hindsight) I went to Luton Station, didn't even get a chance to leave the station, and got escorted back on to a train to London. Following season I got off at Flitwick instead, got a bus into Luton, and managed to get in thanks to a Luton fan.
Semi finals and Scott Oakes as well mean I hate the place...

They have a train station for the airport which doesn't leave you at the airport.

Which tells you everything that you need to know regarding the historical calibre of their efforts in regard to town planning

Dundee isn't that bad.

They have a strange accent though even by jock standards.

You just cannot let it lie can you Nicey.

Most of us despise the greedy fat bastard. But no one ever let someone live rent free in their head as much as it seems you did or do.

Anyway nice too see Hall and Browne playing for Oxford. Hopefully Browne can push for the first team next season

I’ve never met a Luton fan in my life.

Our skirmishes aside, I’ve always considered it a proper cunt of a club.

The 3-2 cup defeat is right up there in terms of how bad I felt after a game.

Hatred of Luton is entirely rational, in my mind. Hellish place. Shame, cos plenty of Bedfordshire is very pleasant. It's the Stoke of the South.
